Some personal news, as they say: After 30 years in journalism and a decade spent bureau-chiefing on Parliament Hill, the time has come for me to make some changes in my work life. Today is my last day @TorontoStar 1/n #cdnpoli#cdnecon#cdnmedia
1/2 We will have a cross-Canada @CBCNews radio special on the Ottawa protests and police crackdown beginning at 1 p.m. ET on CBC Radio and CBC Listen, hosted by @SusanBonner & @chrishallcbc
Join @SusanBonner @chrishallcbc and me for a radio news special across Canada about the Prime Minister invoking the Federal Emergencies Act. The PM will hold a newsconference. We'll bring you that plus analysis. 530AT/430ET/330CT/230MT/130PT on @cbcradio
It is a pile-on of well earned praise for a formidable and gracious journalist and colleague. Congrats, @caroloffcb! Thinking of the team @cbcasithappens
@pjstock@cbcradio@CBC Thanks for listening. It is commonly referred to as the CDC (plural), even in the U.S. Not the CDCP. We're pretty careful about getting it right.
I was stunned the other day when one @cbcradio reporter actually got it right. But that was an outlier. Why @susanbonner can no one else at @cbc seem to understand that the full, correct name of the CDC is "The CentreS for Disease Control AND PREVENTION"?
Coming up on @CBCWorldatSix we are in Kenya looking at how some of the poorest communities are trying to cope with climate change. With @JF_BISSON #CBCNEWS
Tune in to the federal leaders' debate TONIGHT at 9 p.m. ET on CBC Radio One frequency in your region, or online on CBC Listen.
Join hosts @SusanBonner, @piya, @chrishallcbc for special radio coverage.
