@RishiSunak Not a matter of blaming, Thatcher defined new attitudes in politics, hard turns, culling actions, endings, affecting people acutely, without smooth transition. Shock that still reverberates. We have to learn from it. I haven't forgotten.
@ZoeParamour I don't know, in my estimation they are the glue holding children's education together by a thread & valiant in their approach. Their hearts are with the children, yet the dozen hats they have to wear, workloads & deadlines detract. They must become exhausted.
@Jenny_1884@GlynisSpencer A painful end to a working life. You have paid your dues. I've completed the sentence the Govt inflicted - worked from 60 to 66, at 68 still working. The Govt reduced me, ignored me, took away the money they contracted to pay me. I can't choose the right word to say how I feel.
@Peston Whatever anyone fancies happens next, let the turn around of how they deal with the momentous issues impacting upon the world & its inhabitants & our own country, turn things around instantaneously, for the baying crowds will not be easily satiated.
@A1LondonLady A pharmacist working from within a medical centre phoned me to discuss meds. asking me to call back with a decision. No direct line to the pharmacy. The GP receptionist grilled me relentlessly until I gave it up about why I was calling him. What possible interest to her?
@JohnCleese Everyone sees, everyone knows, there have been enough years to reach such an understanding. There seems to be nothing anyone can do about it, but watch. Truths come out on a daily basis. It is incredible, yet not fascinating, frightening.
@campbellclaret@RobCrowther_72 Everyone's in the know, seemingly, about money crossing hands, except the likes of me, struggling to keep money in my hands, to pay bills. I read, yet it links to stories from far away mind sets.
@DailyMail Stepping into the shoes of our children & seeing statements from the President of America that things will be 'bad for us' if we don't do his bidding, is it any wonder anxiety levels are high in children & young adults in the UK today?
@RishiSunak@thetimes A beautiful world, full of resources, a gift. If only we could share, gracefully. Instead we draw lines in sand & shout out - do not cross - mine, or give me what you have!
@JohnCleese Not everything that starts anew creates a mixture that is tenable. A Govt may create its own struggle, or carry the struggles forward that a previous Govt created.
