@FlySci Working helped me stay sane through my pregnancies. I even continued to come in to work at 40+ weeks during my PhD (my first kid came 12 days passed his due date). It was a positive experience for me.

Clarkson's 2023 Mathematical Biology Team Science (MBioTS) REU has begun! 8 undergrad researchers spent the 1st week getting to know each other, and learning about ODEs, coding, cell biology, evolution, and more. Looking forward to a great summer! @BiologyClarkson@ClarksonMath
I got an NSF CAREER award!! https://t.co/XDFIolPqfN
As a result, I'm looking to recruit two grad students to my group over the next year to use microbial experimental evolution and statistical approaches to understanding evolution in spatially-structured environments... (1/2)
Folks with experience/interest in some or all of molecular evolution, microbiology, bioinformatics, statistics would be great! Please share and email me you think our research interests overlap. Here's my website for more on my group at Clarkson Uni: https://t.co/TVfAdnP7iN (2/2)
As long as you hold a spot, the school canโt admit anyone else. In other words, you arenโt hurting the school. You are hurting your peers โ some of whom may not have been admitted anywhere. Pls donโt limit the careers of your peers.
