@georgedunbar_@BirdingN Jeez George, I'm rapidly losing the will to live. There are 5 people in the hide, two of which have arms outside, and excess flaps are open making them all visible to the birds. Which is not the object of a hide. End of, I've had enough now.
@georgedunbar_@BirdingN No, they were already open when we entered. So we closed them after us...as everyone should. Simple hide etiquette, what's not to understand?
@georgedunbar_@BirdingN Of course not, but people tend to open ALL the flaps whether they need them or not. Then when they're finished they leave the flaps open, despite notices on the doors asking them to close them afterwards. And we end up with soaking wet seating and floors when it rains.
@georgedunbar_@BirdingN Yes! A hide is supposed to be exactly that, hide you from the birds. If all the flaps are open it's useless. Why don't people get it?
