Wow. Minnesota now has 3,866,086 registered voters, an all-time high so far as I can tell. Given population growth, new records do get set repeatedly. But normally not in June of a midterm year. Normally new peaks coincide with presidential elections. This is a new phenomenon.
“We have to have sympathy. We need to at least let them engage in some stock trading so they can continue to take care of their family.”
- House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) on lawmakers trading stocks.
@lucasvaugh91298 You obviously know nothing about the bill so you might want to quit showing off your ignorance. It’s not just a “gun bill.” It includes significant mental health support and school safety aid.
@lucasvaugh91298 That’s not how legislating works. Refusing to receive a message from the other body — just hiding in a desk drawer? — is political cowardice. It’s no big deal to receive the message. Not even a vote. Then she can just not take it up & vote down DFL procedural moves. Beyond weak.
This is GLORIOUS

This is how you go out, @StephenAtHome! 😂
And may @CBS implode literally the same way without you
Minnesota Rep. Nathan Coulter provided an excellent explanation yesterday on the floor of the House as to why it would be a mistake to entirely remove the record of a prior voter registration by someone who is now deceased.

When ICE failed to render aid to Renee Good, she still had a pulse 6 1/2 minutes later. Today, on the first day of legislative session, I co-authored a bill with the majority leader and other health care legislators that would give Minnesotans civil recourse in that circumstance.

The transformation from a strong supporter of individual and states rights @tomemmer to a sycophant arguing for total federal government control has to rank as one of the most embarrassing things I’ve ever seen in politics.

My career began in marketing before I made my way to elected office. @danpfeiffer shows how "the Epstein Class" is the way for Democrats to tell the two-sided story: (1/-)

It’s why politically connected fraudsters get pardons and hardworking people are snatched off the street because of the color of their skin. And it’s why no one in the Epstein Files has been held accountable. (4/-)
The most recent Minnesota registered voter list I bought is from January 18, 2026, so I went back one month and looked up the Star Tribune obituaries with death date December 18, 2026. These are the 14 obituaries; 0 of 14 were still registered. Voter list maintenance: It's real.
