Happy International Tiger Day! Alley Cat Allies' mission is to transform and develop communities to protect and improve cats' lives. But we also advocate for laws and policies to stop the sale, exploitation, and abuse of big cats.
Because all cats, big or small, deserve protection and respect.

Our 2025 audit found New York was the hardest-hit state for antisemitism, with nearly three out of four incidents in the state happening in NYC. Antisemitic assaults went up 10%, and Orthodox Jews were targeted in 60% of them. Rivkie Feiner shares her experience as an Orthodox Jewish woman living in New York.
Today is the @UN's International Day for Countering Hate Speech.
Antisemitic hate speech fuels violence, and as Jewish communities in the U.S. face an unprecedentedly high threat environment, we continue to see a spike in antisemitic rhetoric on and offline.
If you've experienced or witnessed an incident of antisemitism or hate, you can report it to us here: https://t.co/wHEr8NOquI
‼️UPDATE: 7 cats rescued from a sealed bin in San Antonio were saved and adopted. But justice still must be served‼️
Alley Cat Allies is offering a $10,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone responsible for sealing cats into two plastic bins to die in February of 2026.
Anyone with information is urged to call 311 and ask to speak with a San Antonio Animal Care Services (ACS) investigator. Learn more here: https://t.co/gVr25iCvef
The seven cats saved were cut out of one of the bins just in time to be rushed to lifesaving medical care. Now, all have been adopted into homes where they can heal. Munchkin was the last to find a family just two weeks ago.
However, every cat in the second bin passed away before they could be rescued. This horrific act of cruelty cannot go unpunished. We are fighting in their memory and seeking the maximum sentence for all involved.
As an ACS spokesperson said: “Given the generous Alley Cat Allies reward in connection with this case, we are hopeful the reward may encourage anyone with information to come forward and assist investigators."
Savannah Guthrie posted a heartfelt Mother’s Day tribute to her mom, Nancy, who has been missing since February:
“Mother, daughter, sister, Nonie - we miss you with every breath. We will never stop looking for you. We will never be at peace until we find you. We need help. Someone knows something that can make the difference. Call 1800CALLFBI. You can be anonymous and the reward remains available. Please keep praying. Bring her home.”

ADL's 2025 Audit shows that there were 600+ antisemitic incidents at synagogues last year. Worshippers have been harassed and intimidated at the doors of their sacred spaces. The bipartisan SACRED Act would establish federal protections. Urge your Representative to co-sponsor: https://t.co/mhC8LBGsEn
This man is incredible—Artemis II Astronaut Victor Glover had a simple message to his neighbors as he arrived home:
“I don’t know if you heard me say it, but God told us to love Him with all that we are and love our neighbors as ourselves.”
Once again, my friend @RabbiWolpe eloquently states the truth: From Bondi Beach to Jackson, Mississippi - these acts of violence "are manifestations of an ancient hatred that adapts easily to modern circumstances."
We have a moral responsibility to confront this hate openly. Because "being privately horrified by antisemitism is not enough. Silence is interpreted as consent." https://t.co/gSBoANBWBZ
Jewish students in Connecticut are being targeted with swastikas, Nazi salutes and Holocaust denial. No young person should endure this. @ADL_Connecticut’s Stacey Sobel writes about the state's new Working Group to Address Antisemitism in K-12 Schools and how we're supporting educators with tools to address antisemitism: https://t.co/VgultHc3Ro
For patriotic Americans of good faith, this should be clear:
Republicans must without reservation condemn and reject the Nazi sympathizers remaining in their midst.
Democrats must unequivocally condemn and reject those on the left who defend US-designated terrorists and call to “globalize the intifada.”
Neither party should in any way accommodate these kinds of toxic and dangerous extremists.
I want to invite you to join me in praying each day - for our world, our communities, and one another. Wherever you are, take a few moments to pray along, and I also hope fellow artists will join in and encourage prayer on your platforms as well, let’s seek the Lord together!
Savannah Guthrie pleads for prayers as police are investigating the disturbing disappearance of 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie. Blood was found at the scene, and a ransom note has been reported.
Guthrie posted on Instagram:
"we believe in prayer. we believe in voices raised in unison, in love, in hope. we believe in goodness. we believe in humanity. above all, we believe in Him.
thank you for lifting your prayers with ours for our beloved mom, our dearest Nancy, a woman of deep conviction, a good and faithful servant. raise your prayers with us and believe with us that she will be lifted by them in this very moment.
we need you.
'He will keep in perfect peace those whose hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord.' a verse of Isaiah for all time for all of us.
Bring her home."
Kathie Lee Gifford wrote on X, “I am devastated for my friend Savannah’s beloved mother, and I’m keeping her and her family in my prayers since I heard this awful news... Please join me in bombarding heaven with your prayers, too. I cannot even imagine the pain that they are in. Only God can comfort.”
And Franklin Graham wrote, “Savannah Guthrie, who America knows as one of the hosts of the NBC Today Show, is in the news because her 84-year-old mother is missing from her home in Arizona and foul play is suspected. I know she and her family would appreciate your prayers for her mother’s safe return.”

@PatriciaHeaton Jesus said that all men will know that you are my disciples if you love one another. Your brothers and sisters in Christ love and appreciate you. Thank you for using your platform and voice for the glory of God.
Today I had the privilege of meeting with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy @ZelenskyyUa in Berlin and to have prayer with him. I prayed for him, and I also prayed for President Vladimir Putin and President @realDonaldTrump—that God would give these leaders wisdom and give them a path forward to peace. The complications in Ukraine and Russia are very difficult, and I believe only God can solve this.
I shared about this during our European Congress on Evangelism meeting this evening and asked the delegates—over 1,000 church and ministry leaders from all across Europe—to stand together and pray for Ukraine, for Russia, and to pray for peace. Will you join us in praying for peace as well?
Our hearts break for the loved ones of the two young embassy staff members who were shot and killed last night outside a Jewish museum in our nation’s capital in a horrific act of antisemitism. Where does antisemitism come from? It comes from evil in the human heart. The Bible says, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked” (Jeremiah 17:9). Only God can transform the human heart. This couple was planning to be engaged next week in Jerusalem. Pray for the family members who are suffering because of this wicked act of evil. https://t.co/Kpv8GI1GsH
