The World Cup begins tomorrow, and many will watch the matches. Soccer reminds us of something we must not forget: life is not a race to show off on our own, but a path we learn to walk together. Anyone who does not know how to pass the ball, even if they have talent, has not yet understood the game. Anyone who does not know how to live with and for others has not yet understood life. #ApostolicJourney

Sports is a powerful tool for economic empowerment as well as promoting wellness, recreation and social integration.
As a ministry we are making deliberate efforts to enhance support for sportsmen and women living with special needs to ensure they achieve their full potential even as they cement our position as a sports powerhouse.
In our meeting today with the leadership of the Special Olympics Kenya, I committed to do more as a ministry to integrate people with special needs in our programs.
