@TerryMoran The truth? That’s the same logic as “The World According to Garp.” C’mon, Terry, “60 Minutes” isn’t - and has NEVER been - news. It’s grandstanding editorial and you know it. Let the market decide whether it’s dead or not - like it always does.
@JoeConchaTV “60 Minutes” isn’t - and never was - “news”. It’s editorial that grew out of the Fairness Doctrine era. That era is long gone. Time to move on.
@JoeConchaTV Pelley would have garnered a lot more respect if he just opted to resign. Instead, the insubordinate antics and tirade confirm the lack of professionalism. Good riddance. And I’d bet serious money that there’s a sigh of relief from staffers now that the toxic energy is gone.
@JoeConchaTV I think the technical term is insubordination. If he couldn’t live with the new management, he should have resigned, as professional executives do. My guess is that many staffers are likely relieved that he’s gone, taking the toxic negativity with him.
@seanspicer Ironically, therein lies the problem. It’s under new management. If you don’t like it, there’s the door. Like any other for-profit business.
@GovMikeHuckabee@bariweiss "60 Minutes" audience has always been 65-to-dead. Forever. I'd argue that perhaps they're attempting to resuscitate it. Might be way too late, though.
