@afri_caan@iMuthoni_ If its not submissiveness leading to persuasion, what was that that made J calm down those times when she started feeling insecure about Joyce's unexpected appearances.? She could irritate him and when he started showing 😠, she would lay low, calm her voice, kiss and caress him.
@kay_mahapa The way he took advantage of Lindani's naivety and desire to live a good life , the look on his face every time he was with her, so merciless and ready to crucify her. He really had to go.
@mukyalaNeighbor I think it would be helpful to those living it coz it gives you answers to the questions, so if you are wise enough you get to understand and relax.
@DrWDN2@Owishemwe Enheeeee, exactly. The same way men run back to their first lovers when things don't work out with the uptown girls. This movie, also brought up Essie later, just to show you that. She wasn't recognised until boredom and loneliness came in.
@Dzungie007 Finally, i am Ugandan. I watch alot of movies, the western way is so overrated, very predictable but I applaud the tension in this African setting. The hate aside, we can do better and actually have a big influence in the movie industry. Our real life experiences are loud enuf
@DrWDN2@Owishemwe Me too, the first thing that came to my mind was, ohhhh is J Ugandan???? All the rich men in town have hidden wives, the ones we see fighting in the lime light are the 2nd or 3rd.
@maletsemana I'm telling youu!!!!!! Its necessary.
AOB
As an African I'm glad we could have something so nice and unpredictable to watch. I advocate for more movies that show the real African life, we can hold strong positions in the world by our influence.
@fsnakazibwe Its Farida's effort that she can even make a list like that, its only people who don't have love for maids that cannot understand the genuinity in this. I see a boss's happiness. Thank you Faridah
@fsnakazibwe Did she say she's complaining about the illiteracy!!!!
How is she mocking her?
So you can laugh at posts of school attending kids speaking broken English and giving wrong answers but you choose to take this to another level of seriousness. Ayiiiiiiiiii.
