Jaw-dropping. The UK Tory government is going to Court to challenge a law passed by @scotparl unanimously. And for what? To protect their ability to legislate/act in ways that breach children’s rights in Scotland. Politically catastrophic, but also morally repugnant.
took my english boyfriend to a scottish wedding years ago and he phoned his pals the next day to tell them ‘at the end they all go mad to this loch lomond song and hold hands and charge at each other in a weird scottish mosh pit’
This is my works van, it’s been stolen from Bishopton Community Centre car park, whoever has taken this please know, Muirshiel is a CHARITY, you’ve cost this CHARITY around £25,000 to replace the van, tools & equipment!!

@ArtyBagger Walking near Faskally before we married (26yrs) my husband to be remarked how pretty the chrysanthemums were - pointing at primroses. Yup! Bring this fact up every spring. Its the small things....
Court rules that carers on minimum wage won’t be paid for resting while carrying out their jobs.
Meanwhile over at the House of Lords on £300 a day tax-free..
Good morning @pritipatel. When the Suffragettes marched to make their voices heard and demand equal rights and votes for women, some of them indeed made noise. Many of them were arrested. Do you believe they were wrong to protest and make noise? Thanks, Angela
@ArtyBagger Classy. Despite having emigrated from Glasgow to Broughty Ferry sur mer - I can only produce the sturdy neon yellow/green variety. Which I love (in case they can hear).
Today we remember those we lost during the Dunblane Primary School shooting 25 years ago.
Our deepest sympathies are with all of those affected by this horrific incident. Not just today, but always.
