Check this out! On this day in 1913 110 years ago, #FortGeorge was celebrating the idea we were finally getting street lights. The cost was to be covered by the Northern Telephone and Power Company. The Fort George Herald was saying how we are now a "metropolitan city" and how just a few weeks ago, power was turned on to the business sector and many local homes. #alwaysbecreating #PrinceGeorge

Sept. 30 marks the #NDTR2023 and #OrangeShirtDay. A public ceremony is planned for 2 pm at Lheidli T'enneh Memorial Park.

An orange flag is flying at City Hall to honour Survivors of residential schools and the children who never returned home, their families, and communities.

What a great visit with the Chinese Freemason Society at PG city hall!The very first Canadian branch was formed in Barkerville, B.C. 160 years ago! Today, about 90 visitors travelled from Vancouver to Barkerville and then to Prince George. We have a branch as well.
