We must support college and university programs and the dedicated faculty who prepare teachers for their life’s work. Dr. Arnn’s remarks were reckless, irresponsible, and patently disrespectful to teachers and the field of education.
There is no profession more noble than teaching, and I am forever indebted to those teachers who taught and nurtured me, as well as those who teach my own children now.
