@CarrefourES
@bbb Now they want to pass part of the repair cost to me? That’s not accountability. That’s avoidance. @Hyundai, cover the full repair. It’s the right thing to do. #Hyundai#ConsumerRights#LemonLaw
@Hyundai After months of problems with my @Hyundai Elantra—excessive oil consumption, repairs, inspections—they finally agreed to replace my engine. But there’s a catch.
But those parts would NOT need to be replaced if the engine hadn’t failed in the first place. This wasn’t normal wear. This was Hyundai’s defective engine.
@Hyundai Unbelievable, after weeks of being ignored, you only responded once I filed through @bbb_us. Now you are asking for the sales agreement , which I don’t have, and the dealer won’t reply. Is this how you treat customers with serious warranty issues? #consumerRights

@Hyundai My 2018 Elantra is now at 91K miles. Since 80K miles it’s been burning excessive oil, shakes and check engine light on and off. Still no engine replacement just tests. Feels like you’re waiting for the warranty to expire at 100K. Why make us go through this? #Hyundai

I’ve done everything the dealership asked: oil changes, combustion cleaning, follow-up visits. Now I’m supposed to come back after another 1,000 miles… and still no clear answer on whether I’ll get a new engine under warranty. #HyundaiElantra#engineproblemselantra
This isn’t just about my car—it’s a known issue. Tons of Elantra and Hyundai owners are dealing with engine failure and oil consumption problems. There are even class action lawsuits. Yet we’re left waiting while our engines deteriorate.
@united I am not going to call the number. If you wanted me to call a number, you could’ve said that 15 days ago I am not the one that has to be going through trouble here. I don’t like the strategy of waiting 15 days to see if I forget or asking the customer to call to see if he givesup
@united I am waiting for my second bag fees to be reimbursed. An agent told me he processed my refund on April 14 but I haven’t yet received the money. I was reimbursed for my first bag on April 13, but still waiting for the second one. It has been 15 days now.
@united You are not assisting me. You reimbursed me for the first bag and told me to wait for the second bag. I waited 16 days. And when I reach out again, you want me to call. Why? Reimburse me like you did for the first bag. Don’t say here that you are assisting me bc it is not true.
There's one thing teachers from around Illinois cite as an impediment to classroom learning: cell phones.
That's why this session, I'm moving forward with legislation requiring all our school districts to adopt a cell phone policy that bans their usage during in the classroom.
