BREAKING: Pivotal Research has initiated coverage of SpaceX with a Buy rating, calling Starship’s rapid reusability the key to unlocking a massive space economy.

The firm says if SpaceX solves rapid reusability of Starship, it could:

• Cut the cost of reaching orbit by up to 90%
• Expand Starlink faster
• Enable orbital AI data centers
• Win more defense projects
• Unlock manufacturing in space
• Enable point-to-point suborbital passenger travel
• Support power beaming from space to Earth

Starlink just expanded to another huge segment of business aviation

Starlink is now officially available for Hawker 700, 800 and 900 series business jets

The Boring Company is now running TWO Prufrock tunnel boring machines simultaneously beneath Nashville, and the engineering happening underground is insane

Prufrock-MB1 and Prufrock-MB2 are actively mining through extremely strong Nashville limestone

Core samples collected throughout tunneling have consistently tested at around 14,000 psi compressive strength

And removing all that rock is an engineering system by itself

As each Prufrock cuts through the limestone, excavated rock is continuously carried away from the boring machine through a conveyor system running through the tunnel

The material reaches the launch site, then moves through the vertical cassette and vertically stacked conveyor belts before dropping into the rock pit at the surface

So while the machine keeps advancing underground, there is an entire continuous system behind it moving excavated limestone out of the tunnel

Two parallel tunnels
Two continuous rock-removal systems
All operating simultaneously

And this is only scaling from here

Prufrock-MB1 has been continuously upgraded as it tunnels, with TBC reporting consistent week-over-week performance improvements

Lessons learned from MB1 were incorporated into MB2

Now Prufrock-MB3 is scheduled to arrive in Nashville this month, incorporating what TBC has learned from both machines to make it significantly more efficient from day one

This is how The Boring Company is scaling tunneling:

More machines digging in parallel
Continuous excavation and rock removal
Rapid hardware iteration
Improvements carried directly into the next machine
Higher production rates with every generation

And all of this is being built for Nashville’s Music City Loop

The system will connect downtown Nashville and Music City Center with Nashville International Airport, with the airport-to-downtown journey taking roughly 9 minutes

More than 40 stations are already in various stages of planning and design

TBC also has authorization for up to 25 miles of tunnel within TDOT right-of-way

And the entire system is privately funded.....zero taxpayer dollars for construction or operation

Elon’s vision with The Boring Company goes far beyond digging a single tunnel

The goal is to take transportation 3D for cities built in 3D

So...bigger idea is to make tunneling something that can scale: deploy more machines, dig simultaneously, iterate constantly, increase speed, drive costs down and eventually build enormous underground transportation networks beneath cities

Nashville is starting to show what that looks like
