This year I want us to stop asking ‘what if people can’t afford sustainably made clothes?’ and start asking ‘WHY can’t people afford sustainably made clothes?’ It’s the same reason garment workers are paid peanuts - hoarding of wealth and power in the name of capitalism.

@AjaSaysHello Exactly. And fast fashion gets us hooked while we’re young. I did a talk for some 10 year old kids in a school last year about fashion/sustainability and it’s crazy how brand conscious they were and how they idolised so many of these companies already.
