I saw a few signs for Brent Jones around Knoxville recently and decided to check out his campaign page. He’s running against Elaine Davis in TN House District 18.

The “family” pic on the campaign website was not a good start - I don’t believe in dragging family into politics, but his foreign wife + no kids combo is very troubling. Tennessee doesn’t need a “dog dad” representing us.

Kathy Park - the foreign wife who refused to take Brent’s surname by the way, incredibly embarrassing - is a journo born in California who recently worked out of NYC. Marrying a journo should be disqualifying for public office at this point.

Brent touts himself as “serious conservative leadership” but doesn’t even mention the word “immigration” on his campaign website! How unserious of a GOP candidate to ignore the singular issue facing our nation.

I was surprised that I hadn’t heard of this guy before today, but now I know why. His candidacy is totally astroturfed by anti-American interests that want to force the GOP back into the Reaganism death spiral.

The flooding damage in Del Rio TN is as bad or worse than it was during Hurricane Helene for this town.

Words fail me to describe how bad it actually is, truly apocalyptic scenes.

So many people lost everything, roads are washed out, homes are flooded, one guy watched his truck float downstream in front of him and then his entire garage door ripped off and everything inside of it floated downstream.

People are using personal tractors to dig out some of the biggest mudslides I've ever seen.

Entire roadways no longer exist and it genuinely looks like a bomb went off in the center of Del Rio.

It's going to take years to recover from this.

Please keep these people in your prayers, this isn't being covered in the mainstream media at all and these mountain folks are ALWAYS forgotten by the media.

Contractors routinely spray herbicides into Florida lakes by helicopter. After a contractor sprayed an FPL easement in Santa Rosa County, residents reported 50 dead chickens, a dead horse, and wildlife losses. The Santa Rosa Beekeepers Association president says it’s a recurring problem. Public records show the contractor received multiple violations for improperly storing chemicals, and I’ve received reports of the same issues again and again.

New York’s Medical Aid in Dying (MAiD) program is about to become active

Governor Kathy Hochul signed a new state law that’s becoming active on August 5, 2026 that will allow New York residents to make decisions on if they want to die

“New York State now allows doctors to kill its citizens. Kathy Hochul was pretty excited about it. Watch her announcement.”

To provide transparency. I found all requirements for this program:

To qualify, a person must:

- Be 18 years or older
- Be a New York resident
- Have a terminal illness that is incurable and irreversible, with a prognosis of 6 months or less to live that’s confirmed by two physicians
- Be mentally capable of making an informed decision
- Make voluntary requests that includes written and at least one recorded oral video request
- Self-administer the medication. The patient takes it themselves, doctors prescribe but do not administer

Now the big issue I can immediately see with this is someone who’s in a terminal state may be depressed and feel this way for awhile but that mood could change. Maybe a condition could improve. This is the wrong move
