Being a bad child is a matter of character, not gender.
When news broke that Shivcharan Gupta’s three daughters didn't turn up for his funeral, the real issue was simple: children abandoning their dying parent. It was never about them being women. Yet, it quickly turned into a gender issue, and some people began making up conspiracy theories, asking, "What if he was actually a terrible father?"
That argument makes no sense when you look at the facts. If he was really such a terrible person, why did they keep talking to him on the phone until he got sick? Why did they used to pick up old age home manager's phone and listen to him giving them his sickness updates? If they hated him so much, why did they ask to watch his funeral on a video call and initially ask for his ashes to be kept? Real anger leads to cutting someone off completely. Keeping in touch from a distance and watching the funeral on a screen doesn't show fear or past pain; it shows laziness and a lack of care.
Trying to defend them just because of their gender is wrong. Caring for your aging parents is a basic human duty for both sons and daughters, and these three are simply a bad example. You don't need to invent excuses for them. If you abandon the parent who raised you in their final moments, you are a bad child, plain and simple. And even if he was a bad father, of which there is no proof or logic, still, it's your biological and spiritual duty to be with the one who gave you life.

Delhi court has sentenced 5 convicts to life imprisonment for the murder of Ankit Sharma.
1) Tahir Hussain
2) Nazim
3) Qasim
4) Javed
5) Anas
Ankit Sharma was an Intelligence Bureau officer. He was brutally killed during the 2020 Delhi riots.
He was stabbed 12 times and sustained 51 injuries, his body was dumped in a drain.
In March 2023, Delhi Court stated that "Ankit Sharma was killed because he was Hindu".
Before passing away from terminal cancer, he left these final words for his son, Mantra:
Mantra, if I go somewhere, do what your mom says. Take care of your mom. Don’t ask where Papa is. Take care of both your sisters. Whenever you remember me, I’ll be around you.
You rarely get a mic at the UNHRC, so when you do, you don't waste it on generic speeches. You make every second count.
@asuvathaman did just that by taking two vital issues to the global stage: forced religious conversions and the erosion of ancient civilizations.
He reminded the world that Hinduism is a nature-centric civilization, not just a religion. Every time an indigenous culture is converted and erased, humanity loses centuries of ecological wisdom that no modern climate policy can replace. It’s high time the world views cultural survival as environmental protection.

Mirabai Chanu, the whole Northeast is shouting from very far away, but shouting loudly.
Over the past many years, I have taken a personal stand in support of the NEET examination, arguing that it brought uniformity in student selection across the country and gave students from underprivileged backgrounds a real shot at pursuing their dream of medical education. In the last 5 years, the NEET UG question paper has leaked thrice. Imagine the amount of pressure that it puts on students, who had to go through the examination process yet another time when the system that was supposed to bring in uniformity was failing. Yet there was no accountability, and I believe strongly that it was that moment that brought in a shift in the minds of the students to take to the streets to cry their hearts out.
Protest is a fundamental right in a Democracy. The pertinent question, however, is this: why did the BJP-led Central Government take so long to initiate a dialogue with the protestors? Why was meaningful engagement delayed until the protest had escalated to a flashpoint? What kept you waiting?
The students and the people who are leading them also have a responsibility here. It is natural that when a protest stays on for weeks, people with vested interests will take the stage to air views that are either completely irrelevant to the initial demands of the protests or would try to completely hijack it to serve their agenda. If you remain silent and let these people with vested interests further their agenda, then you are deviating from your core objectives. Please do not let it happen!
I urge the BJP-led Central Government to engage in meaningful dialogue, uphold transparency, and take swift, appropriate action to address the concerns at hand. The strength of any nation lies in the confidence its youth place in its institutions. If our students lose faith in the fairness and credibility of our education system, we are jeopardising the future of our nation.

I stand with the brave youth of my country
I stand with the right cause they are raising
I stand with the demands for accountability and transparency
No political party should think that they can ignore the voice of the youth.
Arrogant politicians. Hosh me aao!!
It was a much bigger protest than most of us anticipated. I think for a moment, even the govt might have been caught off guard.
So, hats off to the Aam Aadmi Party. These guys understand mass psychology, especially youth psychology, better than most other politicians, and they know how to manipulate it and use it to their advantage. Even Congress, a much larger party with more resources and experience, cannot mobilize this kind of protest.
Also, this event again exposes the BJP’s ongoing vulnerability in the modern info-war. They fail to recognize a fundamental truth: the youth are inherently anti-establishment, aggressive, and driven by cultural trends. If a protest is perceived as "cool" and culturally dominant, participation explodes because joining becomes a way to signal belonging and status. You cannot counter this energy with outdated hashtags or by reminding the youth how bad things were under previous regimes. That historical comparison means nothing to a generation that never lived through it. The youth do not judge a govt against its past; they judge it against their own expectations for the future.
To fix this, the most important thing is BJP must aggressively reform its communication machinery. Fire the absolute dinosaurs running their digital strategy, those pre-2014 social media relics are still trapped in a time capsule, utterly clueless about the modern internet. These digital fossils don't understand anything beyond spamming robotic IT-cell hashtags and forcing artificial trends that everyone sees right through. In their place, the party must hire actual youth who live and breathe modern internet culture to build organic, decentralized narratives.
The CJI made a "cockroach" remark for some reason, which was seen as mocking the youth who criticize the judiciary and the system.
Organic outrage followed. Abhijit Dipke, a social media handler of a political party thought smartly and created a satirical Instagram account called the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP). It was meant purely as satire. Since the cockroach comment was trending in the news, people followed the CJP account on a whim.
Seeing its potential, the political party Dipke was associated with jumped it and took over the initiative. They hired media agencies and influencers to promote the account further by generating hype, curiosity and making it the "in thing." Consequently, more people followed, triggering a bandwagon effect. Soon, the follower count reached crores.
Then, the political think tank behind CJP concluded that they had enough support. They reasoned that if even 1% of their 2.5 crore followers turned up for a physical protest, they could topple the govt, or bring a huge shock at least. A massive buildup was engineered for Dipke’s homecoming to India, mimicking the historical hype of Gandhi’s return from South Africa.
They anticipated such a massive crowd that they expected Dipke to be welcomed by crores of people at the airport. Instead, nobody showed up. Nobody turned up at the protest site either. It was a massive disappointment for a party with 2.5 crore urban followers to be incapable of finding even 50 organic protestors.
To compensate, they brought in the same old compulsive protestors to fill the site, leftist student unions, LGBT groups, farmer leaders, and aadarsh musalmaan groups, but the movement failed to kick off.
Next, they found Sonam Wangchuk, a man with a relatively clean past, apparently no political inclinations, and a public image popularized by a movie (which wasn't actually based on his life, but worked anyway). They convinced him to go on a hunger strike.
The party behind the movement waited 15 to 17 days for Wangchuk to lose weight, ensuring he looked frail, weak, and barely surviving. Once he reached that state, they launched a massive Instagram and Facebook campaign to emotionally manipulate and guilt the masses into supporting the movement through him. To a certain extent, they have been successful.
I don't know if Sonam is aware of it or not, but knowingly or unknowingly, he has become the face of a manufacturd movement.
P.S. Dharmendra Pradhan should have been sacked. I have said this multiple times too. Why? Simply because he is incompetent, not because someone is sitting on a hunger strike demanding it. Wangchuk might be a sincere guy, but the people pulling the strings behind this movement are not. And trust me, if something happens to Wangchuk, these people will be the happiest because it gives them a tragedy they can capitalize on to reignite a dying movement.
