A new low in Indian politics where public attacks are preplanned & hospitals are under pressure not to treat serious injuries to a person because he represents the opposition. It is an attempt to murder a leader.

This was the treatment advised by doctors to @abhishekaitc last night after he was brutally attacked and lynched by BJP in Sonarpur.

As can be clearly seen, the nature of injuries was serious to warrant this treatment. He was in the ITU for almost 3 hours from 8:15pm to 11pm

The two doctors worked hard and did their job. However, the hospital administration said they were being pressured by the BJP Govt and the police to NOT admit and treat Abhishek Banerjee. Eventually, he had to be taken home without necessary testing and treatment.

Meanwhile, after denying him medical attention, BJP leaders are now spreading fake news that his injuries were not serious & only minor medication was administered.

First you brutally assault an MP. Then you violate his fundamental right to medical treatment.

PM Modi claimed in Parliament in March 23 that India has diversified its energy imports — from 27 countries earlier to 41 countries today.

The country deserves transparency.

Which are these 41 countries?
How much energy is being imported from each of them?

These are no longer abstract claims. On the ground, families are struggling! LPG cylinders are slipping out of reach and petrol prices have been hiked 4 times in just 10 days.

In the last 12 years, the Modi Government has collected over ₹43 lakh crore from taxes on fuel. Yet when Oil Marketing Companies faced losses, instead of using this enormous fiscal cushion to protect citizens, the burden was simply passed on to the public.

Will the Government finally absorb these shocks and support OMCs?
Or will ordinary Indians continue paying the price for policy failure?

Had fuel policy been managed responsibly, people would not be facing relentless back-to-back price hikes within days.
