There’s a statue in Glasgow that in the 1980s someone put a traffic cone on its head. This started a game of cat and mouse between pranksters and the local council. No sooner did the council remove it, someone replaced it. It’s now became a cultural symbol in Glasgow.
Scotland football fans have exported the trend but it’s gained a larger audience than ever before in the USA!
We’ve had many DMs from our new followers from the USA about how they can support the Tartan Army.
The best place we can signpost people to is the Tartan Army Sunshine Appeal. TASA donate money to children’s charities in every single country Scotland plays. They raise funds to do this through selling merchandise and hosting TA events like Burn’s Suppers.
Give their account a follow to see the amazing work they do on behalf of Scotland fans, and have a look at their webshop for merch. #TartanArmy #EverywhereWeGo
