Simon Elder JJE

General media-type person in the world of VOD. Have a fondness for stories. And judging.

@scottygb There is a difference between a new acquisition and buying a library show that does not suggest particular value for money given how little of it the BBC now has. Buy the box set that brings something new, rather than trying to be Netflix.

@JohnRentoul They’ve just been re-numbered again.

[Simon Elder JJE @Sussy75]

@restisents You’ve posted this multiple times today, but the Friday episode is still missing on Apple Podcasts.

[Simon Elder JJE @Sussy75]

@mstevnz Ahem, Mihi.

[Simon Elder JJE @Sussy75]

@mstevnz Looking forward to Mini Forbes joining.

@meandmybigmouth Moments later, a police car pulls up; ‘What did those people just ask you?’

[Simon Elder JJE @Sussy75]

@meandmybigmouth My most random interaction: Walking along the road (early evening), a car pulls up, the passenger winds down window and asks me: ‘is there a difference between loving someone and being in love?’; I reply ‘Yes’; the passenger turns to the driver, says’See’, and they drive off.

@suzikyla23 Same

[Simon Elder JJE @Sussy75]

Enjoyed Round 4 of Thursday Murder Club adventures (Audible version), @richardosman but - NZ edit - Jonah Lomu was not Maori.

[Simon Elder JJE @Sussy75]

@CateOwen I am literally doing a PhD on this (well, a bit more than just this). Basically, intro is ‘Dr Ropata’s in The Mandalorian!’

[Simon Elder JJE @Sussy75]

@rudemrlang @MrDavidEBrown And there is a reason that Amazon re-commissioned Neighbours for FreeVee; and that media write so many stories about soaps and their storylines/actors in the first place.

[Simon Elder JJE @Sussy75]

@SimonAnthony93 @WestEndCovers Amazing performance yesterday too!

[Simon Elder JJE @Sussy75]

@TophHooperton @hayu_uk No EU portability reg anymore for us.

[Simon Elder JJE @Sussy75]

@CateOwen Smiley on Netflix.

[Simon Elder JJE @Sussy75]

@panmacmillan Erm, you know he’s not the Prince of Wales in the book, right?

[Simon Elder JJE @Sussy75]

@FoxyLustyGrover I’m frightened that I might find out I know said old woman.

[Simon Elder JJE @Sussy75]

@se17 Seem to be a few closed venues in Sayer St at present; and no sign of MM Factory progress.

[Simon Elder JJE @Sussy75]

Amazon saw this coming..

[Simon Elder JJE @Sussy75]

@rudemrlang @dudleycruse Wasn’t it also specifically structured around the Atlanta Olympics as a cliffhanger while Days was off air?

[Simon Elder JJE @Sussy75]

@stu_turton This is also what happens when you have worked in TV PR. Watch an episode; Read the rest.
