How can we help towards #SDG2;
β’ Buy carepackages in my weekly shop to donate to foodbanks
β’ Grow my own vegetables to help me become self sufficient and reduce strain on agriculture
β’ Buy less or non-bulk products to reduce my food waste
β’ Reduce my meat intake
Why is Sustainable Development Goal 2 important?
Due to Covid-19 and the financial crisis within the UK, many people are now struggling to afford the basic food essentials for a healthy balanced diet
The Trussel Tust saw an increase of 37% in emergency food parcels in 2022/23
Here is a good article I came across today about how rising temperature is affecting our deep sea #wildlife today in the twilight zone.

Why it is important for us to support #SGD1
In the year 2020/21, 13.4 million people in UK were in #poverty. This included 3.9 million children. This is expected to rise significantly in 2023 due to the effects of #COVID19 and financial crisis.

Earth day π
To do my bit for #EarthDay this year me and my partner (@NBorstal) have been planting wild flowers and plants, adding bird feeders, #recycling old pallets into a stand for our flowers and adding water sources that will attract bees, insects and birds to our garden
How Im helping towards SDG 1
When I was renovating my garden, I used new and local tradsmen using material sourced from local building merchants π
This allowed me to invest in my local community and give small local businesses a chance in a challenging market #SDG1#investing
How can we help achieve SDG 1 (Poverty) in our local communities.
β’ Donate to local food banks to help the vulnerable π₯¦π
β’ Invest in new and local business to give them a fighting chance against huge cooperations π°ποΈ
β’ Support charities to fight homelessness π‘π€
#SDG
Scary fact π±:
Humanity currently needs 1.8 Earth's on average to maintain its development. This means we are using more than our planets biodiversity can regenerate.
How many Earth's would we need if we lived like the residents of your country?

If you don't know what the UN sustainability goals are (SDG). These were first introduced by the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in 2015. https://t.co/mLDN5p1qm9
The goals were introduced to help countries develop a sustainable, peaceful planet for future generations π
To help me towards this goal and the importance of sustainability I will use this tweeter account to promote organisms in nature and how we can preserve and help the enviroment become a more sustainable world referencing the 17 UN sustainable development goals ππ
