@HaltonPolice Just witnessed a police cruiser slowly drive down Trafalgar, not keeping up w traffic, officer obviously engrossed in his technology, even coasted dangerously through a red light. Probably very official police business, but please be less distracted while driving.

At #COP26, 39 countries including Canada agreed to stop pouring public money into fossil fuel projects abroad.

Now, wealthy, polluting #G7 countries are trying to backtrack on their commitments.

The energy crisis only makes it more urgent to shift to cheaper & more reliable renewable sources.

#G7 countries spend USD 33 billion in taxpayer dollars/yr to fund oil, gas & coal projects overseas. We can't afford any delay on shifting that 💸 to affordable, reliable sources like wind & solar.

This is a big week for climate action! As the US finalizes its commitment to reduce emissions, we need other leaders to step up also. I hope @JustinTrudeau & Canada will commit to reduce emissions at least 50% by 2030. Only through bold action can we address the climate crisis.
