@kat1e_123 @_chrishaynes True. It is interesting that KK's appeal extends across gneder lines #engl3246

[Jeffrey Sutphin @SutphinJeffrey]

@_chrishaynes True. But we have to question good deeds driven by hate or revenge. #claim #engl3246

[Jeffrey Sutphin @SutphinJeffrey]

I like the idea that KK did not have a traumatic event that started her life as a superhero. She is doing "good" cuz she is good #engl3246

[Jeffrey Sutphin @SutphinJeffrey]

@charlesmhopper @rydo2965 @kat1e_123 @_chrishaynes There are certain moral standards every society must adhere to #claim #engl3246

[Jeffrey Sutphin @SutphinJeffrey]

@charlesmhopper @rydo2965 @kat1e_123 @_chrishaynes Moral Relativism. It doesn't actually exist. #claim #engl3246

[Jeffrey Sutphin @SutphinJeffrey]

@kat1e_123 @DaleSclass @_chrishaynes Yes it is difficult to relate to someone like Superman, but not KK. She is a real person #engl3246

[Jeffrey Sutphin @SutphinJeffrey]

@charlesmhopper @Jasmine3866 @_chrishaynes @kat1e_123 Yes. I love the idea of redemption as well. #engl3246

[Jeffrey Sutphin @SutphinJeffrey]

@charlesmhopper @maurabennet1 @_chrishaynes Agreed, and KK shows that you don't have to be a tradish superhero to do good #engl3246

[Jeffrey Sutphin @SutphinJeffrey]

@kat1e_123 @DaleSclass @_chrishaynes Agreed, she is self-conscious and more human than other superheroes, therefore relatable #engl3246

@_chrishaynes They are non-white #deets #engl3246

[Jeffrey Sutphin @SutphinJeffrey]

@_chrishaynes It is men and women who are fans #deets #engl3246

[Jeffrey Sutphin @SutphinJeffrey]

@_chrishaynes This is a difficult Q because one act could be heroic and "good" but it can also be undone with a single act #engl3246

[Jeffrey Sutphin @SutphinJeffrey]

@_chrishaynes This is a difficult Q because one act could be heroic and "good" but it can also be undone with a single act #engl326

[Jeffrey Sutphin @SutphinJeffrey]

@kat1e_123 @charlesmhopper @_chrishaynes Can someone be "good" with a single act? Or does it have to be maintained? #claim #engl3246

[Jeffrey Sutphin @SutphinJeffrey]

@rydo2965 @_chrishaynes This is important because many underrepresented people feel insecure about being themselves #claim #engl3246

[Jeffrey Sutphin @SutphinJeffrey]

@rydo2965 @_chrishaynes As time goes on we see a sort of individuation taking place. She is integrating her whole self #claim #engl3246

[Jeffrey Sutphin @SutphinJeffrey]

@rydo2965 @_chrishaynes Agreed, she is initially taking the form of what she thinks society expects of her #claim #engl3246

[Jeffrey Sutphin @SutphinJeffrey]

@_chrishaynes She is showing that you don't have to be born with special super powers to decide to do good #claim #engl3246
