Do you ever feel overwhelmed by the presence of God? By His Spirit He is with you constantly, and the Holy Spirit even dwells within you. Try to develop the habit of practicing His presence. Learn to frequently whisper to yourself, “Christ is with me, around me, inside me.”
“Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.” -1 Peter 2:24
Have you ever praised God for how He created you? Maybe if we were more thankful for our bodies, we'd be better stewards of them, taking care of them for God's purposes and using them for His glory.
Our sinful nature makes it easy for our mind to be filled with ungodly thoughts. Make a conscious effort, as often as you can, to empty your mind of negative thinking and let good and godly thoughts rush in. And there is no better source for good thoughts than the Word of God.
Are you feeling tempted to worry about something today? Whatever it is, commit it to God with thankful prayer and let the peace of God replace your worry.
