🚨 NEW: A 19-year-old Eritrean national has been convicted of murdering a British teenager after stabbing him eight times during a planned robbery in Chatham, Kent.

Musa Salih lured Harley Purdue, also 19, into a basement before attempting to trap him in a toilet and steal his money.

After the murder, Salih fled to London and searched an AI app for legal advice and information about the incident.

The verdict comes as Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood threatens Eritrea with a complete UK visa ban unless it accepts the return of its nationals, including convicted criminals.

Salih will be sentenced on 4 November.
