Cancelled - Worksop and Retford Saturday Markets
The Met Office has issued a Yellow Warning for the weekend as Storm Darragh is forecast to bring high winds with gust in excess of 60mph across most of the country, including Bassetlaw.
Due to these forecast conditions, the Council has taken the difficult decision to cancel its markets in Worksop and Retford on Saturday 7th December. High winds can cause market stalls to move or become unstable and we must consider the safety of customers, traders and staff as a priority.
We apologise for any inconvenience or disappointment this may cause.
