Rickel is a horn player with Sutton Symphony Orchestra. Letβs hear what the birthday boy would tell us :)
Q: Can you name one composer you admire?
A: Anton Bruckner, his later symphonies sound like a Bruckner universe.
Q: What do you see for the future of music in Sutton?
A: It is a very interesting one. We have been getting more Hong Kong families settled in and around Sutton area, most of the kids from Hong Kong families used to play at least one music instrument.

The Concierto de Aranjuez ("Aranjuez Concerto") is a concerto for classical guitar by the Spanish composer JoaquΓn Rodrigo.
The Concerto was inspired by the gardens at the Royal Palace of Aranjuez, the spring resort palace and gardens built by Philip II in the last half of the 16th century and rebuilt in the middle of the 18th century by Ferdinand VI.

Georges Bizet (1838-1875)
β¨Carmen Suite
Carmen, Bizetβs last work, was premiered in Paris in 1875 to a hostile and uncomprehending audience.
They adhere very closely to Bizet's orchestration. However the order of the musical allusions are in reversed chronological order, and do not adhere to the operatic versions entirely, although the Suite is directly inspired by Bizet's opera.
