Here’s my profile on the other site (🦋), same username as this one.
Basically doing the same stuff I do over here, AKA sharing posts and not talking that much.
I’ll keep retweeting here until the ship sinks, though.
@thewhitejawa First-trying the Chapter 4 secret boss does lead to dialogue about how she “wasn’t really fighting by herself”, which Susie does acknowledge. So it might be what’s happening on some level.
@TemmieOrSmth99 It may not just be a matter of how many, but how long they’re left unchecked. Aside from the Closet and Bunker fountains, every fountain we’ve seen has been sealed in a single day’s worth of time.
@asshole_wizard I just don't understand why a “100% of your brain” style pseudoscience is fine if it's supervampire scientists but not if it's through an exceedingly-rare-but-summonable weather phenomena. The rules of real life science are being bent either way.
@asshole_wizard I mean, stabbing someone’s brain with a fork isn’t rare or powerful, but that doesn’t mean it would affect someone the same way the Stone Mask does, right?
Similarly, an Arby’s commercial designed to make someone want food obviously wouldn’t be able to replicate HW’s effects.
@asshole_wizard This is the same world where a stone mask can give people the power to perfectly control their bodies by piercing specific points in the brain to unlock its true potential.
Neither of those things are necessarily related to deep lore secrets of Kris or The Knight. They’re just personal things that Kris is guarded about. Because that’s how people are sometimes.
@R_Guy26 There’s already other things that indicate that Kris isn’t comfortable sharing personal information with the SOUL — the fact that they refuse to play piano until it’s locked up or have Susie’s encouragement. The fact that they refuse to look in Asriel’s room.
Not to mention, Kris was a mischievous kid. If the horns got covered in mud a lot, you’d have to wash them off. If you rinse something enough, the color goes.
@R_Guy26 Why would it only make sense if he’s “attached” to Kris? Do you have proof?
You know, I've been on the defensive this whole time. What do you think Ralsei is, exactly?
@R_Guy26 I mean, it sounds to me like you have another example of something in the game that faded, and you’re just being picky about it.
Are we sure Darkner memories are objective? Since Kris’ other clothes don’t become Darkners, was he Ralsei yet? When did he become himself?
@R_Guy26 I didn’t say Kris had something to do with the Storage Closet, I was just saying that Ralsei would belong there even if Kris wasn’t around.
What I meant is that because we don’t know WHY Ralsei knows the prophecy, it’s pointless trying to use it to narrow down what he is.
@R_Guy26 There are several conversations between Kris and Ralsei that are Ralsei deliberately forces to be offscreen. There are things they aren’t comfortable talking about in front of the player.
@exists_a83117 I don’t think Susie needs to have an exact personal relationship to each item for them to manifest. What she knew was that Ralsei was supposed to be there.
Personally, I think Kris is used to being the “bad kid” and seen as worse than Asriel.
And then they see this guy who’s *too* nice, too honest with the vulnerabilities Kris can’t express, and looks like a monster who’s a member of their family. I’d be weirded out too.
