On April 17, 2025, @MEXC_Official froze my account due to a vague “risk control” protocol, without prior notice, explanation, or any opportunity to cooperate. Since then, nearly 3 months have passed, and my funds — totaling $2,082,614 USDT — remain fully inaccessible.
Throughout this time, I’ve followed every possible internal channel to seek answers and resolution. I’ve submitted multiple tickets and contacted support and compliance teams directly. The only responses I’ve received from @MEXC_Official are automated, copy-paste messages, stating that the review is “ongoing,” without providing any progress, no specific reasons, no evidence of abnormal activity, and no options to appeal or submit proof, they just keep demanding facial verification with mi ID, despite my account already being fully KYC-verified.
“Due to risk control activation, your account review will take 365 days. Contact us again on 04/17/2026.”
Shockingly, at one point, I received an email stating the risk control process was completed, yet support insists the review is ongoing, revealing an INTERNAL CONTRADICTION and a complete lack of transparency, and causing severe emotional and financial impact.
This situation is not only unjust, but potentially a violation of international financial standards regarding due process, user rights, and custodial responsibility. Freezing an account without any formal mechanism for defense, appeal, or information is simply unacceptable.

Leave that for later and start unlocking frozen accounts.
New money in → old money stuck is how MEXC's operating.
When one's using incoming deposits to cover operational needs while stalling withdrawals for the most profitable traders, the endgame is similar to a Ponzi scheme.
Legit exchanges don't fear profitable traders. They make money on volume, not on you losing. If you win a lot, it doesn't hurt them as they simply earn more fees from your higher trading activity. In a healthy model, your profits come from another trader's losses, not from the exchange's pockets.
Whether you call it a Ponzi, exit scam in slow motion, or just fraud, the playbook is the same:
1️⃣ Keep the marketing going
2️⃣ Keep the deposits coming
3️⃣ Quietly freeze the winners
If an exchange's often freezing profitable accounts, claiming a 365-day review period: It means your winning trades are costing them money.
That can only happen if they are taking the other side of your trades or failing to hedge risk properly. In both cases, your profit is their loss, and this is the opposite of a neutral exchange model.
Delaying payouts is buying time to bring in more deposits to cover existing obligations.
🚩 The red-flag pattern 🚩
1️⃣ Continue to market aggressively to attract new deposits.
2️⃣ Accept all funds from new users without restriction.
Locked for a year if you try to withdraw big profits. Welcomed in minutes if you're a new user ready to deposit. Sounds less like an exchange and more like a trap.
Imagine a "marketplace" where winners wait a year to [perhaps] touch their money, but new deposits are accepted instantly. In finance, that's called a Ponzi. In crypto, they just call it "terms of service"
3️⃣ Quietly lock up withdrawals from high-win-rate or large-balance accounts under vague "investigations"
4️⃣ Hope the winners give up or settle for less over time.
@MoneyTaura yeah, we were asked to make a prototype for this years ago. Wifi and bluetooth. People always keep them on. We even track the duration of a device at a shop. +1 interest in the shop.. or was talking to someone else in front of the store :D. Result: men got female related ads
@Moneytaur_ Im starting to feel and see the market as it realy is. Feels wierd and strange, but it also gives a sort of a comfortably feeling by knowing. Thanks alot for your effort and insights.
@Moneytaur_ This is spot on! A shame i didnt noticed you last year.. that would have saved my “gains”. Now in back at the beginning, and hope to learn and act on it
Blockchain was originally created to democratize finance, but over the past decade, it has evolved into something far greater.
Today, it’s not just about decentralized finance—it’s about laying the groundwork for transformative innovation.
AI agents are emerging as a groundbreaking use case for blockchain, yet many fail to grasp why these agents require a dedicated layer to truly thrive.
The exponential and unpredictable growth of AI will reshape our lives in ways we can’t yet fully comprehend. Its impact will extend far beyond what we experience today.
This is where the BerryChain comes in—a purpose-built powerhouse for AI agents.
It’s more than just a financial infrastructure; it’s a limitless foundation for innovation. The possibilities of what can be built on top of it are almost unimaginable.
Our vision for the BerryChain transcends finance. We are defining the standard for a new, cooperative economy—building a future where AI and blockchain unite to create unparalleled value 🍓
I read so much misinformation around USDT that it's no wonder people are confused and scared.
From it being illegal to own to it's going to crash and take the entire market with it.
Here's what is really about to happen 👇
NOTHING. No seriously, absolutely nothing.
You have been engagement farmed all week and frankly I would advise you to unfollow all the accounts with misinformation.
They either didn't look it up at all OR they know better but just spread panic to farm your attention.
Did you know that some of the biggest exchanges that are based IN EUROPE, will still keep USDT?
- Binance Europe
- Crypto-Com
- ...
Did you also know that a public statement from regulators said that USDT ISN'T non-compliant?
Yes, you heard me. No official source has stated that USDT isn't allowed to be traded on exchanges at all.
Even Juan Ignacio Ibañez, a member of the technical committee of the MiCA alliance confirmed this.
Then why are some exchanges delisting it like coinbase?
Purely precautionary. But that's literally it. Just like XRP was once delisted by exchanges and then magically added again because nothing was wrong after all.
If it really was illegal or non-compliant, you would see it removed from every exchange asap (and not still have it listed on Binance Europe, which is HEAVILY regulated these days).
Did you also know that even IF USDT someday would be delisted by all European exchanges NOTHING would happen to it? 😅
(bet you are wondering how insane the misinformation you've been reading about has been right?)
Europe is only a fraction of the entire world and USDT would just go on and do its business around the rest of the world.
Not even accounting to the fact that every European still can trade it across 100+ dexes.
(non-compliant doesn't even mean illegal or not allowed to be traded by Europeans at all. Otherwise we would barely be able to trade any crypto anymore)
It just means EU exchanges would primarily need to comply and slowly offer other options.
But again, this is only an IF.
Today, it's even STILL allowed for European exchanges to list it.
MiCA or no MiCA.
So all the panic you've been reading? Well, you've been listening to clowns.
TDLR:
- Not illegal
- Not crashing
- Still available to trade
- Nothing changes at all (really absolutely nothing)
Nova out 🤝
