@Midimatt001 Asked them about it as well & they said they have the code written but have not implemented yet. No ETA tho. They said the PA12 can switch the midi if the 4+ is plugged into the host port of the PA12. Haven't gotten it to work yet but would require the 4+ to be near computers.
@Midimatt001 Got the PA12. This might be a dumb question... Can I connect the 4+ directly via cat5 to the PA12 or does everything need to run through the network switch?
@Midimatt001 Yes :) . Will let you know what they say. I might pick up a PA12 to just test it out anyway. I could definitely use the extra outputs over the Motu Ultralites. Have you been liking yours?
@Midimatt001 I currently use that Orchid midi a/b switcher that you recommended which switches in conjunction with the Radial SW8. Works great for switching between the Outputs of comp A and B. Hoping the PlayAudio12 can get rid of that and the SW8.
@Midimatt001 Wrote to iConnectivity. They said "PA12 switches both audio and MIDI via the USE-MIDI Host port and the RTP-MIDI Ethernet port." Wrote back to clarify if both comps always receive midi while only sending midi from 1 comp at atime. If that's the case, then the PA12 is a no brainer
