@lennycurry, honest question. For wks, I've heard you use the % of positive cases number, being low, as justification for reopening Jax. But now the %, greatly increased, is no longer valid? Please explain the logic in the sudden dismissal of a previously enshrined statistic. Thx

@BuckSexton I'll withhold an opinion for 2, maybe 3, weeks. Who knows what may be incubating? Could go either way. If the scientists needed test cases for rate of spread in large gatherings, they've got plenty now.

@chuckwoolery I think we would need to view an #alternativeuniverse, one where we did nothing as a nation, to prove him false. If we swing the doors wide open economically, we could still see it go either way. So there's still a chance you will be right saying he was wrong. 🙂

@wjxt4 Has anyone found hand sanitizer on local shelves? We can wash our hands at home, of course, but in public the health conscious will want sanitizer. If many aren't wearing masks now, the chances of them sanitizing on #reopening are slim.

@lennycurry FL leaders are pushing people w/o symptoms to get the diagnostic test (and the antibody test, which does make sense). So manipulating the % of positives by pushing for negatives is relevant data? Why not just report the # of new daily positives? Honest question, please explain.

@AphasiaAnswers I used to carry a card in my purse for this purpose to communicate with my family when transient aphasia hits. I really should have one when I go out by myself now. Um, I mean, go out later. Whenever that will be. 🤷‍♀️

@lennycurry Honest question here... I hear Florida leaders pushing non-symptomatic people to get tested for the virus (not just the antibodies) even though they feel fine. Wouldn't that distort the "percent of positives" number? Which then could be used to prove a decision-making point?
