@jeffprobst#hmu ! I have an idea for #ultimatesurvivor. Two seasons run at the same time (geographically close, obvi). When both get to final 3, MERGE! Also, I want to write for the wiki Fandom. Tell me how.
This principal @laurenlampron@ECPSchools_NC is brave above all for her students. And that is not in the job description of principal. #nced

Tonight, I said my final good night to a great. This man shaped who I am as a leader. From him, I stole my final interview question when seeking teachers: "Is it important for students to like you?" He was my cheerleader, & I hope I'm making him proud. I love you, Conrad Lopes.
We wish a Happy Thanksgiving to all our Little Leopard families. We are thankful for you!
Deseamos un Feliz Día de Acción de Gracias a todas nuestras familias de Little Leopard. ¡Estamos agradecidos por ti!
Today, we had a presenter from one of our math programs come to school to work with PLCs. She said MULTIPLE TIMES that she felt so comfortable with our staff because we all really seemed to be like family. And that's how I'm measuring my success and my happiness.
Our 1st-5th grade students collaborated to create artwork inspired by the artist Tula Pink. Many thanks to our creative art teacher, Ms. Rhonda Powell for bringing these individual art pieces together to brighten our hallway!

I am SO super proud of these amazing teachers with whom I work every day. It's an overwhelming task to take on SOR training AND a new ELA curriculum all in the same year, but they're rocking it. I LOVE my SES peeps!
And sometimes you celebrate Walking Taco Tuesday by becoming a walking taco for your kiddos! I was graced with a new name today...instead of Dr. Sell, I'm now Taco Sell.

We are going strong and building connections with our classroom Social Contracts! When students communicate how they want to be treated, they are far more likely to treat others the same way.

The first week of school should focus on building relationships. And part of that is establishing routines, procedures, and expectations. Consistency helps students feel more secure.
