Because their homes had been ripped off the side of a mountain and washed down the French Broad.

So tell me 60 Minutes... WHERE WAS THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT?

Tell me, WHY did all these volunteers NEED to show up?

Temple Square renovation work reached another milestone. All scaffolding has been removed from the Salt Lake Temple exterior and tower cranes no longer hover over the pioneer-era house of the Lord. Dates were also announced for the Salt Lake Temple Celebration open house next year. Public tours will begin April 5, 2027 and continue to October 1.

The First Presidency and an Apostle of the Church welcomed the Thai ambassador to the United States to Salt Lake City. The group discussed shared values and recent humanitarian collaborations in Thailand.

Just two months after the Alabang Philippines Temple dedication, an open house is now underway for the Davao (Da-vow) Philippines Temple. Public tours started on March 23 and will continue until April 10. The Davao Philippines Temple is scheduled to be dedicated by Elder Dale G. Renlund of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles on May 3.

In other temple news, the Church released exterior renderings for the Vienna Austria and Culiacan Mexico Temples.

The upcoming April general conference of the Church will include a solemn assembly. This is a special, sacred meeting, which can be held for a variety of holy purposes. Anciently, solemn assemblies have their origins in the antiquity of God’s dealings with His covenant people.

For months, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has continued to donate truckload after truckload of food donations to food banks across the United States. This is part of the America 250 celebration to honor the 250th anniversary of the United States. The CEO of one food bank in St. George, Utah said the donation will help take pressure off as they are seeing a big influx of families in need.

Nearly 2000 years ago, Palm Sunday marked the beginning of the last week of the mortal ministry of Jesus Christ. Scriptures tell us that the week began with throngs standing at the gates of the city to see “Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee” (Matthew 21:11).

Though we do not stand at the gates of Jerusalem today with palms in our hands, the time will come when “all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, [will stand] before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands” (Revelation 7:9). #GreaterLove

Most people are watching Operation Epic Fury and seeing a war with Iran.

Glenn Beck is watching it and seeing something much bigger.

𝐂𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐊. China. Russia. Iran. North Korea.

The new Axis Powers. Not a formal alliance like NATO. No signed treaty. No shared headquarters. But a coordinated bloc of authoritarian states with shared interests, shared enemies, and shared ambitions to dismantle the Western-led order that has kept the peace since 1945.

Iran is a load-bearing wall in that structure.

And Trump just knocked it down.

China has one critical vulnerability: energy. It must have oil and it cannot produce enough of its own. Iran was a primary supplier — selling sanctioned oil at discounted rates, routed through back channels, keeping Beijing’s industrial economy running.

That pipeline is now gone.

China was also transferring supersonic missile technology to Iran, deepening the military partnership between the two. That transfer stops now too.

Every drone Russia has fired into Ukraine was designed in Iran.

Not inspired by Iran. Not similar to Iranian designs. 𝐷𝑒𝑠𝑖𝑔𝑛𝑒𝑑 𝑖𝑛 𝐼𝑟𝑎𝑛. The Shahed drones raining down on Ukrainian cities, the one-way attack platforms that have terrorized civilians for two years — all of it traces back to Iranian engineers and Iranian production lines.

Operation Epic Fury just took that out.

Alexander Dugin — called Putin’s brain for years — said it himself this weekend: “𝐼𝑓 𝐼𝑟𝑎𝑛 𝑓𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑠, 𝑅𝑢𝑠𝑠𝑖𝑎 𝑓𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑠 𝑎𝑠 𝑤𝑒𝑙𝑙.”

And within 48 hours of the operation launching, Putin called Trump and asked to restart Ukraine peace talks.

The chain reaction is already happening.

For years the dollar’s critics pointed to BRICS — the economic bloc designed to create an alternative reserve currency and end American financial dominance. The I in BRICS is India. The nation that founded the bloc.

Trump just flipped India to the American camp.

The coalition designed to collapse the dollar just lost its founding member.

He’s right about that.

But here’s what isn’t a matter of opinion: every single one of these dominoes is connected. Iran’s oil to China. Iran’s drones to Russia. Iran’s proxies in Venezuela. India leaving BRICS. Putin calling Trump.

You can disagree with the strategy.

Being anti-war does not mean being anti-strength. Being pro-peace does not mean tolerating endless destabilization. Sometimes the most peaceful leader is the one most willing to use force — decisively, quickly, and without making it perpetual.

Trump didn’t just attack Iran.

The disciplined communications strategy coming out of the Pentagon right now is unlike anything I have seen in my decades of watching this institution, and I have seen a lot (especially leaks).

In France, where many do not believe in God or belong to a religion, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is growing.

“[The Church is] seeing a surge of baptisms in France right now,” said Elder Gerald Caussé (@Gerald_Causse) of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles during a visit to Paris on Saturday, February 21, 2026.

He and his wife, Valérie, began a multi-day ministry across Europe and will spend several days in the greater Paris area, where they once lived and where he served as a local Church leader for many years.

At various meetings in the Paris area where Elder Caussé spoke, several recently baptized Latter-day Saints shared what drew them to the Church of Jesus Christ.
