@punishedsmiley@Cybershell Pretty much, but it can also be triggered if you also use cheats in the game
(if you're wondering, the sprites came from an early version of the game before the creator implemented the DRM system)
@Mook82802914@Kaiju_Freak_v2 These were posters made by the film's Philippine distrubutor Pioneer Films (who are nowadays mainly known for releasing Lionsgate and some of A24's movies in the Philippines plus a few films from small/indie studios)
@Dreezy_carv If I'd like to share my perspective on it, this whole drama regarding TADC is less of a proper call-out and more of a purity test where this content creator is fine until fans discover an honest mistake they did years ago, to which said fans are now okay to demonize them.
@TheMediaMines If it were a real game, then I'd best bet that Traveller's Tales would be the developers and that it would be a 3D platformer akin to the Bugs Life and Toy Story 2 tie-in games.
@StagyJoker@cathy19240327@Captain_Subpar If I can guess, Saban and the execs probably want to dumb down their target demographic for the Neo Saban era, or it's just Saban and the execs wanting to dumb down a type of humor that had gone outdated by the time Ninja Steel was in production.
@cathy19240327@Captain_Subpar Actually, they did kinda tone down some of Ninninger's Japanese iconography such as the mecha's cockpit (to which they have also done to Samurai) as well the Kibaoni Army being rewritten as evil aliens hosting a galactic gameshow called Galaxy Warriors.
@cathy19240327@Captain_Subpar And forgot about this one, but this is the reason on why, if you notice the opening credits of an episode of Samurai after the opening intro, there will always be a credit saying: Japanese Episode Written by Yasuko Kobayashi .
@cathy19240327@Captain_Subpar Yeah, not sure about that one but it could be a classic case of that mandate being added to tone down the violence or something among those lines.
@cathy19240327@Captain_Subpar - Victor and Monty (the show's comic relief characters) had to be involved in at least two scenes per episode.
And the worst offender, the execs mandate that they up the amount of fart jokes in the show, something that both the cast and crew hated doing.
@cathy19240327@Captain_Subpar (cont because of the comment limit).
- No overarching plots (because apparently kids would be overwhelmed with that,) hence why the series is episodic at best
- When the Rangers do morphed fights, they have to make puns and banter constantly.
