Interestingly, to the best of my knowledge, Brazil is the only place besides Austria where physical PlayStation discs are pressed and the facility there is privately owned (Sony DADC Brazil was sold to Solutions2Go a few years ago).

Maybe this legislation could force Sony to keep physical production lines open for new games in Brazil, potentially providing a route for physical PS5 games to continue past January 2028?
