SwaTaleem Foundation is a Not for Profit, working to facilitate quality education in Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalyas through Learner Centric approach.
Menstrual Hygiene Day was celebrated at KGBV Jalmana under the Mai Bhi Curie program by Swataleem Foundation, this April. Through skits, poster-making, and interactive discussions, students explored menstrual hygiene, health, nutrition, and challenged myths around menstruation.
This year, we’ve expanded our intervention to 218 KGBV & KKGBV residential schools across Karnataka, strengthening Foundational English and critical life skills for adolescent girls.
We succesfully completed workshops focused on communication confidence, joyful learning, body positivity, menstrual health, safe & unsafe touch, and equipping wardens to build safe, supportive residential spaces, in collaboration with @SSK_Karnataka .

In February 2026, a series of career manch events were conducted in KGBV Dhillonwala, KGBV Phullia Khurd and KGBV Saffa Kheri respectively, as a part of the Kal Ki Kirne curriculum. Students showcased what they have learnt in their entire curriculum.
Carrying deep insights forward, we look forward to conducting cognitive interviews with our girls and to learning more about their thoughts on concepts surrounding agency.
