@PheanoBlack ... These are not even close to each other. Double loss does not incentivize slow play unless someone wants to mean (which sometimes happens but not often), in the second scenario slow playing is often just stratigically correct. This a terrible idea.
@fabtcg The puzzle of banning Briar and DGA hard but leaving Kayo untouched seems unsolvable, we need our greatest minds on it! And this is supposed to be balancing for a tier4 so maybe you actually should try to do some balancing instead of this "shakeup" stuff.
@Ch0ppyo Exactly. I can honestly say all my tournament losses in Sage were a result of my mistakes which in my eyes makes it a good format. It's also fun.

@Tepes1er@fabtcg Good players can just go to 1-2 RTNs and top4. Elo system wasn't good at all because it discouraged people with high elo from playing.
@SaffronOlive I think it's fine but nothing exceptional. Cool mix of various mechanics, good resourców system but very low draw in all decks except Kai'sa makes luck of the draw in late game too significant. Still, pretty fun game.
@_Edgecrusher@BlackIronJordan @RiftboundM63868 600-800$ is obviously for full competetive decks so you have to compare to their equivalent in Riftbound. If you play casually then literally any TCG can be very cheap so it's not a useful metric. In FaB the new casual friendly format has 30$ decks.
@fabtcg As a newer player (<1 year FaB experience), please just stop pushing LL for comp. CC already has too many heroes to learn in a reasonable time. LL should stay a casual, high power, side event format for playing old favourites. Player numbers at events don't lie.
Nationals are coming back to Bydgoszcz, the place where Polish FAB was born. After real life Talishar from 2022 and Arcanote Skullcap from BH this is the prize for Nats 2025.
@james_white@fabtcg imagine what these guys would make for Worlds 2026 if they get a chance!

@fabtcg The trailer and the set feel very Hearthstone'y and I can't say I like it... I feel like FaB is so different from a lot of competition because of its more dark, "serious" vibes and this misses the mark for me.
@PlayIdiots I don't understand your thinking. If you don't play a hero because it would LL sooner if you win, you just LL itfor yourself faster. It still has to win a lot for the change to mean something, so out of meta heroes will still take a lot of time. It's not auto-LLing after 3 years.
@Mengu09@fabtcg Yes! I switched from Pokemon to FaB a few months ago and these are my major gripes. Elo is a terrible, disouraging system for TCG, Pokemon used to have it but changed to points-per-placement with best finish limits that incentivies to play many events and it's SO much better.
@TylerBrottonFaB@azulgg You see, Pokemon has money events in Germany, so this is not that big of a flex.;) That being said, FaB is amazing but Azul's post is 100% bait.
