Each is adapted to the age and skill level of the class, so every student may advance at his or her own pace.

We encourage students to learn #martialarts arts skills, develop focus and fitness, and enjoy the journey to black belt. Time to earn a black belt depends on the dedication and ability of the student, as well as the standards of the martial arts school issuing the belt.
Heard yesterday: It's harder than it looks!
Starting something new can be very exciting--and a little bit scary--all at once. We have great admiration for our new students who DARE TO BEGIN. And we're excited to see where they will be in 6 months.
Commitment is the foundation of great accomplishments. This fabulous back kick shows one student's commitment to training during the stay-at-home order.
We're thrilled to be teaching in person again. And very proud of our students' commitment and dedication.
Akula #Taekwondo students practiced their #martialarts skills via video at-home training throughout Michigan's stay-at-home order. It's great to see their progress and to be training together again.
Now, more than ever, kids need a safe and welcoming place to expend their energy. Our Taekwondo kids set big goals, work hard, and follow-through to achieve them. They also have fun and make friends. Get in touch now and we'll let you know when we're open. https://t.co/rcJ59qKRnT

- Learn to set and achieve goals.
- Strengthen bones, muscles, and immune system.
- Boost self-esteem and confidence.
Taekwondo training is an ideal, whole-body method for improving mental, emotional, and physical health. The #martialarts arts discipline creates bodies and spirits that thrive, even in tough situations such as coronavirus (COVID-19) isolation.
