Tomorrow will be our 2nd weekend of Cambridge Open studios. We will be massively appreciative to our visitors, as we know it’s a little way out the way compared to a lot of the other studios. It’s located on the business park opposite the garden centre in Oakington, Cambridge.
From this weekend I’ll be exhibiting all my work (including the new ones) in collaboration with 3 talent artists from the art group TRIA for @camopenstudios . We will be so appreciative to those that come to visit to see our work.
I colourised a black and white giclée print of my Great Auk drawing using watercolour. I might start combining my pen drawings with watercolour to create this effect.
Joint 1st place!!! Well done to the other 7 winners (it says 8 on the photo, that was a typo ooopsie). Thanks so much to everyone who visited. It was really nice to take part in a large scale physical exhibition again.
The Cambridge Drawing Society exhibition opens this weekend. It’s free entry with hundreds of pieces on display. I’ve submitted these four pictures. Thanks to anyone who makes a visit.
Someone has asked me to draw their 3 beloved pet hens. This is the first one, which I’ve just finished. It’s a mixture of fine-tip pen and watercolour.
