Great call @LMcKirdy7 - I think Heeney also changes hands to handball it across to Serong’s open side - so he didn’t have to snap on his right back into traffic. His left foot is clear to step into open space & snap the winner.
And this is why players beed to be able to handball with both hands.
Isaac Heeney fakes to handball with his right, sucking in a defender who thinks it’s going to Rowbottom.
He then shifts hands and gives it to Serong, who has a fraction extra space.
Superb.

The difference was consistency in winning the ball back around the stoppage. When we had the ascendancy - we were at maximum damage & a 4 goal better side. But we only did this for 1.5 quarters. If we can improve this - we’re top 4. If we can’t, we’re just top 10 for season 2026
@evan505@BloodsCulture Nah. Look at our list. Buller is still backup to our best 23. First tabled the offer mid season after with only a few games under his belt.
@themongrelpunt@FOXFOOTY Us too watching entire season on @FOXFOOTY . We’re in regional NSW - there wasn’t a goal kicked that wasn’t followed by an ad. It just breaks up the atmosphere. Is all always like this?
Adelaide’s handling of Izak Rankine’s homophobic slur is in stark contrast to their condemnation of Taylor Walker’s 2021 racial slur when he was banned for 6 games. Crows not a contender then. They are now. Hard not to think they’ve been blinded by the shine of a premiership cup.
Longmire will inevitably be linked to every open coaching job. But both he and the club were clear—he didn’t want to be a senior coach again. Sure, things change. But it feels more likely he’ll be running crops on his farm than running training drills for a new team.
@Avatar5991 Yes and Roos went back into coaching before the demons. He took the demons role with eye to transition to Goodwin. Actually think Roos would return to coaching again…
Brodie Grundy is going to finish top 5 in the coaches votes and we will still need to discuss if he is All-Australian ruck.
Despite his in game 'wins' over Xerri, Gawn, Nank, Marshall, Jackson, Darcy, Big O and Briggs.
