Hindu Janajagruti Samiti has strongly opposed the reality show Engaged 2: Roka Ya Dhoka streaming on Jio Hotstar, alleging explicit tasks such as lap dance, “mud” and “ice cube” challenges that objectify women and cross legal and moral boundaries. The Samiti has submitted a formal memorandum to the Chief Minister and the Minister of State for Home @iYogeshRKadam demanding an immediate ban and criminal action against those responsible.

At a time when crimes against women are rising, promoting humiliation in the name of entertainment is reckless and socially damaging. The Minister of State for Home has assured that directions will be issued to the DGP and the Cultural Department for appropriate action.

Freedom of expression is not a license for obscenity. Respect women if you cannot uphold dignity, stop enabling degradation.

अश्लील भाग वगळल्याशिवाय प्रसारण तात्काळ थांबवावे, अशीही समितीची स्पष्ट मागणी. महिलांवरील गुन्हे वाढत असताना अशा विकृत आशयाला “मनोरंजन” म्हणणे अस्वीकार्य. अभिव्यक्ती स्वातंत्र्य म्हणजे स्वैराचार नव्हे.
