On-campus benefits (from my experience):
you don’t really need to think much about what to learn
just do DSA and make one or two full stack projects of any stack
they don’t even check the code or care if it’s deployed
just be confident while explaining what you built and why

CGPA gets your resume shortlisted.
DSA helps you clear Tech Round 1.
DEV helps you clear interview Round 2.
Being confident and some luck helps you clear the HR round.

All our conversations these days are about companies, CTC, location, who got placed, DSA & endless assessments
I really miss those carefree useless talks we used to have. Hoping this phase passes soon & everyone finds themselves in a better place

GPT-5 is OKAYish as a model when you compare it with Sonnet/Opus 4 for our internal tasks at @fermionapp. Definitely better at longer tasks, but not a 10x.
