Introducing Swarm:
Every coin you launch becomes a Neuron in a real Fruit-Fly brain.
The Fly's full brain map has 166,700 neurons. Your coin gets one.
The brain runs all day. When your neuron fires, your coin earns.
Every hour the pot is split by spikes, and each share buys back its coin.
No dev picks the winners. The Fly does.

The math behind Swarm's hourly split.
share = P × s / Σs
P is the hour's pot: 30% of all Swarm fees.
s is how many times your coin's neuron fired that hour.
Σs is every coin's spikes added together.
At :00 the spike table and a hash of the network state go on-chain. The pot is divided by that one formula, and each share buys back its own coin.
Rounding dust rolls into the next hour. Anyone can replay the hour and check.
No dev, no vote, no exceptions. Just spikes.

From photon to escape: the fastest path in a fly's brain.
Light hits the photoreceptors. The lamina splits brightness changes into ON and OFF. The medulla compares neighbouring points in time.
In the lobula plate, T4 and T5 neurons compute the direction of motion. They are among the busiest cells in the brain.
When something grows fast in view, LPLC2 neurons flag it as looming. They drive the giant fibre, and one spike there makes the fly jump and take off. Photon to takeoff takes tens of milliseconds.
On Swarm, that's why your neuron's address matters. Early and busy fires all day. Deep and quiet waits for the market to move hard.

How the Swarm brain actually runs.
The wiring comes from MaleCNS v1.0: 166,700 neurons and every synapse between them, traced from electron microscopy.
Each neuron is a leaky integrate-and-fire unit. Its voltage leaks back to rest, adds up incoming current, and when it crosses threshold it spikes and resets.
Each connection's weight is its synapse count. Its sign comes from the predicted neurotransmitter: acetylcholine excites, GABA and glutamate inhibit.
Researchers used the same kind of model on the female fly connectome and it reproduced real behaviour circuits, such as feeding and grooming, without being trained on them.
Input enters through the photoreceptors. Swarm turns trading into a moving light pattern, so a pump looks like motion and a dump like a shadow growing fast.
The sim steps in sub-millisecond time. Every spike of every coin's neuron is counted, and each hour's counts are hashed on-chain with the network state.
There's no training and no tuning. It's the wiring of a real fly, run as it is.

My portfolio manager is a fruit fly.
166,700 neurons. Never sleeps. Can't rug, has no hands.
Works for fruit. Retires in 50 days.
Honestly the best hire I've made.

The technical side of Swarm.
The brain map is MaleCNS v1.0 from Janelia and Google: 166,700 neurons, 124.2 million synapses, 11,710 cell types.
Every neuron is simulated as a spiking unit, wired exactly as the synapse table says. A spike in one neuron pushes current into every neuron it connects to.
Input comes in through the eyes. Trading activity on Swarm becomes a light pattern on the photoreceptors, and the signal travels through the optic lobes into the rest of the brain.
Each coin is tied to one neuron ID. Motion detectors and reward neurons fire often, deep central neurons less, so where your neuron sits matters.
At the top of every hour, the spike counts per coin and a hash of the simulation state go on-chain, and the pot is split by those counts.

How Swarm works.
Launch a coin and it gets one of the 166,700 neurons in a fruit fly's brain.
A model of that brain runs all day, and the market is what the fly sees.
Every hour, the fee pot is split by how often each neuron fired. Every share buys back its coin.
No dev picks the winners. The fly does.

Quick thread:
1/
Swarm is live. Every coin is a neuron.
2/
In September, Janelia and Google released the full wiring map of a fruit fly's brain: 166,700 neurons, 124.2 million synapses.
The internet made it play Doom. We wired it to memecoins.
3/
Launch a coin and it gets one of those neurons. Pick a region, roll, keep what you get.
4/
A model of the whole brain runs around the clock. Every hour, 30% of fees go into a pot, split by how often each coin's neuron fired. Each share buys back its coin.
5/
Some neurons fire all the time. Two of them are giant fibres.
Roll one.
