@SatireAP So instead of finding American craftsmen and women to build something to show off their work and skill, like the old days of the Chicago Worlds Fair (1883), they instead just do a shitty printed copy instead? That tracks for USA in 2026 under this government.
@MandicReally You are right, but welcome to the internet where people can only bitch and complain and armchair quarterback. The proof will be when these release how popular they are. Honestly I would buy one, but I like the old tech. Hopefully they come to Canada some day.
@DannyDrinksWine We still talk about and theorize about the ending to this day. Any time I show the movie to a person who has never seen it they immediately want to see the movie again and figure it out, and talk about it. It is a perfect ending.
@Tier1Diabetic@PetP1anet Probably a CO2 powered gun for the blowback effect. I've seen this used before the Baldwin thing. A hell of a lot quiet and safer then blank firing guns for some scenes/productions.
@ManOfMacabre@cryptic_stunna They said it best in Unforgiven, a slow calm draw will beat a panicked fast one. And that other guy was panicking. Grandpa drew to aim and kill.
@LeftyMarc@SteveSaretsky "I want my house to worth more!" "Houses need to be more affordable!" Pick a lane. People like you want your house to be an investment and make a return, shit like that makes them unaffordable.
@StreetBrawlX@YouSceneThis I also expect the cops do check them out to see if they were used in a crime. Maybe no idea who handed it in but still good to know.
@PocketsOnFlat@YouSceneThis True, although I thought he could overlap usable prints and smudge them? After he thought it was used in a crime he should of still put gloves on and bagged it.
@Avesvery I always saw this as a first look at what a proper "modern" ship could vs imperials. He has the money to buy all the good tools and toys, and bring them to bear. He isn't a rebel with old equipment, he is a successful spy/businessman who can buy the best.
@DiscussingFilm I saw the hater thing coming, and damn I still laughed my ass off like when I saw the first Austin Powers. Whole commercial has strong Austin Powers 1 vibes.
@WomanDefiner The number of people in the comments just fine with attempted drowning and murder is crazy, but now we see where people like this boomer start when younger.
