My claim (4000782121A) for a Colonoscopy, a procedure specifically listed as a covered Day Care Procedure under your own policy (Serial No. 140), has been rejected by classifying it as "medical and surgical treatment of hemorrhoids."

Absolute disgraceful, how am I supposed to get a written statement from a doctor who is in a different city and has a normal waiting queue of 10 hours, moreover why would someone so busy take time out, you can check in the prescription that I shared

@TATAAIGIndia To make matters worse, I was informed that I could get a refund of my policy premium, but my claim for a covered medical procedure continues to be denied based on an incidental finding that was never treated.

Is this really how claims are assessed?

@TATAAIGIndia For the last 1.5 months, I've been stuck in endless emails and phone calls with Tata AIG customer support, my agent, and Tata AIG representatives. Every time I explain the same thing, I receive the exact same template rejection without anyone addressing the actual issue.
