There should BE NO STALEMATE. ⚠️CHRIS ILLITCH⚠️ NEEDS TO GET OVER HIMSELF AND SIGN SIMON. HE EVEN WANTS TO BE HERE FOR GOODNESS SAKE WHICH IS REALLY HARD FOR US TO COME BY right now BECAUSE OF ⚠️ILLITCH⚠️ HIMSELF!
Decision for him and his agent is that going back to Sweden would be best place to stay in shape. Meanwhile, talks continue on a daily basis between team and agent, grinding away trying to end the stalemate.
It’s becoming increasingly (painfully) obvious that ⚠️Chris Illitch⚠️ is the mastermind behind kneecapping the Red Wings and running them into the ground.
I feel strongly enough about this that I might even forgive Larkin for requesting a trade. #LGRW
@HomestyleMelt@DetroitRedWings@ProfessorLGRW@Ticketmaster The difference based on my eye test from last year is that Ras isn’t skilled enough to help the team consistently, whereas Appleton gets lazy and apathetic. Not saying I’m right, but that’s what I remember thinking during many games last season.
This #lgrw off-season feels like I won’t be as concerned about watching every game I can.
But let’s be honest… it’s gonna happen again. I’ll get emotionally invested during a winning streak, emotionally devastated when it starts to go downhill, then apathetic by end of March.
As Patrick Kane heads back to Chicago, just want to say how impressed and appreciative I was for how thoughtful (and generous with his time) he was in Detroit. Always accessible, no matter how many interviews he'd already done, and offered deep insight on so many topics.
@cassaroo2201@HockeyWithDevin He’s a good player but not a good leader.
He was handed his captaincy and never really truly earned it by showing strong leadership traits. It was just understood it was gonna be his.
