Meet Malin Krook – Head of Development Cooperation

Malin returns to Uganda after 12 years, pleased to reconnect with a country she has long appreciated. She looks forward to strengthening the Sweden–Uganda partnership and building on the cooperation already underway. 🇸🇪🤝🇺🇬

Her first weeks in Kampala have highlighted significant growth and development, and she is eager to explore more of the country in the months ahead.

Malin is focused on advancing collaboration across #TeamSweden, #TeamEurope, government institutions, civil society and the private sector - creating partnerships that deliver meaningful results for both countries.

My very first job in Uganda, 15 years ago, was with the UN Resident Coordinator’s Office 🇺🇳🇺🇬 @UNinUganda. Lovely to reconnect with former colleagues and to meet with RC Leonard Zulu @1ZuluLeonard. We discussed Sweden’s partnership with the UN at country level, UN reform and priorities for the upcoming UNGA. Multilateral cooperation matters more than ever.
