I just finished a series #PartTimeWife on Netflix. It had an episode daily and was so good. 60 episodes and now Iβm wondering if there is more coming, because the 60th episode just left me with more questions. Another season better be coming.
Accepting applications for a chauffeur tomorrow. My usual journey home involves the Central line and Iβm not sure I can survive another round of hot-air conditioning πππ
Ya Allah, please let my training finish early tomorrow. I genuinely cannot deal with this heat. Today left me feeling nauseous, sick, and so weak. π€²π₯΅ #HijabiLife

You have been selected for the 2026 Heatwave Games.
This arena is not unfamiliar. It is your homes, your workplaces, and your transport systems and structures designed to retain heat rather than release it.
Conditions are expected to reach extreme levels, with high humidity making temperatures feel significantly worse than recorded.
Your challenges include:
Attempting to sleep in rooms that feel like you're being cooked in an air fryer
Working and commuting in environments with limited ventilation and no air conditioning
Managing daily life in buildings not designed for prolonged heat exposure
Maintaining basic comfort without widespread access to cooling systems
Authorities advise hydration, limited physical activity during peak hours, and checking on vulnerable individuals.
You are reminded that this is not a temporary inconvenience for many, but a repeated seasonal pattern with increasing intensity.
Stay safe.
And may the odds be ever in your favour.
