very hypocritical coming from a HUGE fb to speak about:
“behind every account is a real person”
“as fans, it’s okay to have different opinions”
when those admins were the very same ones encouraging doxxing of a minor/harassing accs over a “difference of opinions”
even when they were called out at that time, they deactivated instead of taking accountability & deescalating the targeted hate they encouraged.
u guys r unbelievable 2 ppl out there r gonna get the news that their daughter has passed away but ofc the first thing that comes to ur mind is how r ur favs doing u all r fucking sick to be bringing up the members rn SOMEONE JUST DIED.
me mata como las fans de enhypen están más preocupados por el hate que le caerá a ese grupo q por el hecho de que por su culpa una muchacha cometió su1cidi0, a ustedes se les metió una solitaria en la cabeza y se comió todo lo que había ahí
I deleted my tweet, sorry I could've worded it better. my point is I don't blame him, he has every right to vent. but idols know how crazy stans are. even though Ni-ki was vague, toxic fans will always overanalyze to find a target. It's just a sad cause and effect reality.
Apparently, NIKI doesn't feel any pity for this poor girl. It turns out that when you're in a popular band and in a brutal industry, you must know that every word carries weight. But not everyone is smart. #NIKIOUT#enhypen#Mina
"defending my faves" is NEVER an excuse for harassing, intimidating, or driving someone to their death. Your words have weight. She was human, she had feelings and dreams, but instead you cared more about an idol who doesn't know you. Seriously disgusting and inhuman.
all this poor girl did was ask a member to give another one flowers. everyone called her behavior parasocial, but the lengths y’all went through to “defend” your fav wasn’t?
toxic fandom culture normalized cyberbullying so much to the point that sending death threats, harassing, dehumanizing, and bullying her consistently for 5 days despite her apologising across multiple platforms and owning up to her actions wasn’t considered abnormal. it was entertainment to these bullies.
the lack of compassion and empathy this fandom has to see this girl go live and clearly show signs of wanting to take her own life and talking about mental struggles yet all they did was ridicule and encourage her to do it and reduced it to her wanting attention. they’re still bullying her even after her death.
STOP being cruel and inhumane. there are real people behind these accounts. cyberbullying is unfortunately so normalized in the kpop space. whether it’s against fans or idols, it should never be encouraged. think twice before tweeting and please learn that your actions have consequences. you’re responsible and you’ve contributed to her and her family’s pain. be kinder.
seeing these people post about mina as if they didn't organize and participate in the same hate and harassment that fans have received in the past is so hypocritical
engenes are genuinely the worst fandom ive ever come across. that poor girl apologized and you guys continued to send her hate after she expressed remorse for what she did, sure it was stupid but look at what happened. i feel sick oh my god
@chalantbossvi Talk about feelings? Girl, he literally indirectly scolded a fan and provoked a wave of hate. Who knew that if you're an idol, you have to filter even the most harmless words?
Niki, you're just a pathetic coward. Are you still sitting there and keeping quiet about the situation? Apparently, you're waiting for the PR department to write a pitiful enough apology letter on your behalf to touch the hearts of your brainless fans #mina#NIKIOUT
@chalantbossvi You all whine about a strict contract whenever it suits you. However, a strict contract doesn't prevent him from speaking at live. This contract doesn't hinder him or his bandmates. Go wipe a grown man's ass and tell him he did everything right.
@yvnjinluv He indirectly scolded her right during a live. Stop making a grown man look like a victim. The fact that he was bullied as a teenager doesn't change the fact that it was his words that led to the girl's bullying. Fans are so stupid.
best decision ever was detaching myself from stan culture and realizing how this is making people sick in the head. stanning an artist should only mean appreciating their art, harassing anyone in the name of support is insane behavior no matter how you see it.
