Angelica was euthanized today after her condition steadily deteriorated for the past month and got much worse in the last couple of days. She was so loved.
@MimiTheRabbit humans do not like biting but I will do a teeth chatter as a little threat when dinner bowl is not filled fast enough. you have to remind them that you CAN chomp but just not actually do it.
Angelica is doing well, staying comfortable on pain meds and doing normal piggie things happily. No signs of urinary issues, appetite is great as ever. Had a scare where she was gassy a bit ago but she recovered from that quickly.
-- it's calcified and generally very unusual. the x-ray has been sent off for a second opinion and in the meantime she's getting some pain medicine. give your critters an extra treat for us.
it's been a while since I've updated this account, and unfortunately I'm back with bad news. Eliza passed away a couple of weeks ago and today Angelica had a vet visit today because of an unusual mass that I had hoped was a cyst or abscess or something easy like that but --
